The figure stays prone, so the first thing guests see is a body already in motion. Set it on indoor flooring or lean it along a porch roof and the crawl reads as a lunge, not a prop on a stand.

I used to put a standing ghoul by the coat rack and people walked past it. This year I set Long Hair on the hallway boards. First knock, my brother actually stopped talking. Pose does the work. Wish the hair sat a little flatter after unpacking, but the crawl sold it.

Picked Jason and parked him on the porch roof over the pumpkin. From the sidewalk it looks like he’s coming over the edge. We used to do a standing lawn piece that just looked like a statue. This one made kids point up before they even hit the steps.

Went with Ghost Face because that’s our movie night. Laid it prone right inside the door so the reach hits you at shoe height. Had it a week before the party to test the spot. A little bulky to shuffle around, but guests still jumped when they looked down.

Bald model on the kitchen runner, same crawl as the photos. I used to tape a mask to a box and it never read as a body. This one hugs the floor so it looks mid-lunge even with the lights on. Staging took two minutes after I picked the character.
